The Jaded Gamer

Tech Update

As it turns out, TJG will go ahead and be making the move to a new server today, so things may be hit or miss for the next 24-to-48 hours.  The forums and polls will most likely not be back in action til sometime tomorrow, and you may find that the URL (as well as our many other alternate URLs) work only intermittently during this time period.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we’ve outgrown our breeches and simply had to make the move.

The Jaded Gamer

Caution: Men at Work

Some of our databases are currently getting an early “spring cleaning”, so things like the forums and polls will be out of order for a little while.  I have NewsBot on top of the situation, and provided that he doesn’t suffer from a buffer underrun while he’s knee-deep in database tables, things should be back in order shortly.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to get back to making Brad play Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake EaterA Clockwork Orange style.

Surviving the Famine

But today I’m going to share with you my harrowing tale of survival, as I managed to struggle through the golden age of gaming without the world’s game machine of choice.
